Project Questions

Questions about custom quilting?

What quilting patterns are shown in the videos?

The videos show actual quilting patterns used in production. They are provided to help you review the available pattern options for your project.

Can you create a quilted pattern based on my own design?

Yes. You can share your artwork, sample, or reference image. We will review the design against the product construction and confirm the details through sampling.

Does quilting always use thread?

No. Quilting can use thread-based stitching or ultrasonic bonding. The suitable method depends on the material, product construction, and requested pattern.

What is the difference between thread-based and ultrasonic quilting?

Thread-based quilting joins layers with stitches. Ultrasonic quilting bonds compatible material layers without conventional sewing thread. Each method creates a different construction and appearance, so suitability should be reviewed for the specific product.

Which fabrics are suitable for thread-based quilting?

Suitability depends on fabric weight, stretch, surface treatments or laminations, and the number of layers. We review the proposed materials and product construction before confirming the quilting setup.

What is the wash-durability standard for the quilted pattern?

Our current wash-durability standard is 60+ cycles for applicable constructions. Performance depends on the confirmed materials, stitching, and care conditions.

Does a quilted product require a filling layer?

Yes. The quilted mattress protector featured in this program includes a filling layer.

Which is more costly: thread-based or ultrasonic quilting?

For our current product configurations, thread-based quilting is generally the higher-cost option.
